The Owner
Chenoa Murray Daniels is a Performance Poet, Author, and the Founder of Daniels Day Publishing & Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Paine College and a Master of Public Health degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. It was her love of health that led her to serve in the U.S. Peace Corps as an HIV/AIDS Health Volunteer in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (2015-2017). Chenoa wrote her inaugural poetry book Whites Only because she was inspired by her time with the lovely Zulu community she lived with in Limehill, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The book was recently accepted by the Gauteng Department of Education in Johannesburg, South Africa for school library distribution in 2022. A portion of book proceeds benefit Limehill village in South Africa.
Daniels Day Publishing & Consulting is structured to help busy entrepreneurs realize that they too can publish their book!
Chenoa has performed her poetry in numerous in-person and virtual venues including: the Fringe Benefits Theatre (Los Angeles, California), the International Centre for Women Playwrights, the "I Am Free Music Festival" (Sandy Springs, Georgia), Apache Cafe' (Atlanta, Georgia), the Social Security Administration (Atlanta, Georgia), a Poet Laureate of the 4th Congressional District of Georgia Hank Stewart Event (Atlanta, Georgia), the Kingdom of ESwatini (formerly known as Swaziland), Great Bingo Hall (Emnambithi/Ladysmith, South Africa), and Mama's Jus' Jazzin' (Durban, South Africa).
Chenoa is a member of the American Writers & Artists Institute (AWAI).
She also spearheads the African American Teen Authors Book Initiative (click here for more information).
She absolutely believes that God has blessed her to be a blessing to millions of people around the world.
What would make her happy, however, is if you would stop learning about her life and go live your wildest dreams too!
Whites Only is a poetry collection inspired by Chenoa’s experience as an HIV/AIDS U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa (2015-2017).
Ten percent of proceeds benefit Limehill, the Zulu village where she lived and worked for two years.
